From 2019 to 2021, Albright volunteered with Cambridge Rescue, providing essential emergency medical care and support to those in need. As a Vermont EMT-B Certified responder, he was recognized for his dedication to public service, earning two major awards during his tenure:

  • Volunteer of the Year (2020)
  • EMT of the Year (2021)

These honors highlight Albright’s unwavering commitment to helping others and his willingness to step up when his community needs him most. His work with Cambridge Rescue reflects both compassion and professionalism—qualities that define his approach to leadership in every area of his life.

Since 2022, Hugh Albright has volunteered with Wood 4 Good, a Vermont-based nonprofit focused on two core goals: building community and providing free firewood to households that rely on wood heat.

Through his involvement, Albright helps deliver warmth and stability to families across the region during the harsh winter months. The organization embodies the spirit of neighborly support that defines the area’s culture—helping people stay safe, comfortable, and connected.

Whether volunteering his time, donating resources, or leading by example, Hugh Albright continues to demonstrate what it means to be a true Vermont volunteer—serving others with humility, generosity, and heart.
